Abstract

Criminal law is a branch of law possessing significant impact on sociallife; therefore, the evaluation and measurement of the effectiveness of this law is ofurgent theoretical and practical significance. However, the effectiveness of criminal lawis a complex issue with multiple approaches; thus, priority must first be given toclarifying and unifying fundamental theoretical issues.
