Abstract

The procedure for recognizing and enforcing foreign arbitral awards inVietnam is generally well-established. However, several provisions remain ambiguousor impractical. These include the criteria for identifying a foreign arbitral award, thestatute of limitations for submitting recognition and enforcement requests, and whetherawards relating to disputes falling within the exclusive jurisdiction of Vietnamese courtscan be enforced.
