Abstract

“Proactive integration” is a policy that has been reflected in manyResolutions of the Communist Party and has been implemented across various fields,including human rights. Proactive integration in the field of human rights in Vietnam isdemonstrated through participation in and domestication of international treaties onhuman rights; active involvement in the activities of the United Nations Human RightsCouncil, the Universal Periodic Review mechanism, and other international humanrights activities; as well as proactive communication and public and internationaldialogue on human rights. This article analyzes the legal foundations that ensureproactive integration in human rights in Vietnam today and proposes legal orientationsfor Vietnam to continue proactive integration in human rights in the new period.Keywords: Human rights, proactive integration, legal foundations.
