Abstract

Although real estate investment trusts have been regulated in Vietnam since2012, the legal framework for their operation remains inadequate, hindering thedevelopment of REITs in the country. This article analyzes theoretical aspects andinternational legislative experiences in regulating REITs, compares these with Vietnam'slegal framework, and offers proposals for its improvement.
