Abstract

The article analyses the provisions on corporate social responsibility ininternational investment agreements. For Vietnam, the article highlights the importanceof integrating provisions on corporate social responsibility into international investmentagreements and puts forward specific recommendations to improve the enforceability ofthese provisions, with a view to enabling international investment agreements to becomeeffective tools for promoting “responsible” investment activities.Keywords: Corporate social responsibility; International investment agreement;Vietnam.
