Abstract

Intellectual property plays an increasingly important role in the creativeeconomy, but the current legal system still contains many gaps, especially in therecognition of intellectual property rights, valuation mechanisms, registration systemsand the handling of secured assets. Based on theoretical research and an assessment ofthe current legal framework, the article proposes a number of solutions to improve thelaw on securing the performance of obligations through intellectual property in relationto access to capital, with a view to enhancing legal effectiveness, increasing thetransparency of transactions, strengthening the trust of credit institutions, andpromoting innovation in the private sector in Vietnam.Keywords: Intellectual property, secured assets, civil obligations, access to capital,private sector.
